CC Dunton Cat 4s
This was a very fast race which started with Mike Knott breaking clear
of the bunch with another rider on the first lap. However, the bunch
were having none of it and after one lap they were reeled in. Further
attempts were made by other riders to get away but they all came to
naught. The race ended with a mass bunch sprint of 50 riders in which
Martin Elms and Mike Knott finished in creditable 4th and 5th places
respectively, while Dave Whybrow and new member Andy Webster finished in
the bunch. Before the race Martin and Mike were placed 7th and 8th
overall in the series and this result will probably move them up a place
or two. Sunday June 26th - ECCA 100 mile TT
