The routes, subject variation and road conditions, are planned to be as follows:
From East Hanningfield both routes use minor roads where possible, such as Creephedge Lane and Stow Road to Cold Norton and Althorne where the route split.
The 100k heads for Burnham-on-Crouch before turning north for Asheldham and Tillingham. Back west to Latchingdon, Purleigh, Cock Clarks, Ulting and Hatfied Peveral. There is the little matter of North Hill before passing Danbury and Bicknacre on the way back to East Hanningfield.
After leaving Althorne the 40km route cuts back via Latchingdon, Purleigh and Cock Clarkes. North Hill is avoided by retuning via Hackman's Lanes Lane and Bicknacre to East Hanningfield.
