Our 101st year starts here!
Southend Wheelers Cycling Club are one of the premier cycling clubs in Essex and Eastern Region.
We cater for all ages from 12+ and most aspects of the sport, offering everything from the enjoyment of leisure cycling to the thrills of road racing, track racing and time trialling, and for those who like to ride off-road we have Cyclo Cross, MTB and gravel opportunities.
We hold a full programme of activities from weekly Sunday club rides and some Saturday rides to a full racing calendar throughout the year, so why not come along and meet us and find out what we are all about.
Maybe you want to ride with friends?
Southend Wheelers offer weekly Sunday rides. Go with the colour group that suits your speed or skill, and enjoy a ride with what will be new friends finishing with a beverage and cake at our HQ or a cafe on route.
Or maybe you want to race?
Southend Wheelers host a number of races throughout the year and members are active across most disciplines
Affiliated with British Cycling (BC) , Cycling UK (CUK) and Cycling Time Trials (CTT) . If you want to ride CTT Open time trials, you must be a member of a club affiliated to CTT - we are!
