About the event
With the autumn months fast approaching, SportiveUK have come up with the perfect way for you to get your last big bike ride on the clock. Whether it’s the Long 100 or the short 40, there’s something for everyone looking to keep those legs moving. Don’t fancy the full Essex 100 loop? There’s the medium distance of 70 miles that will take you as far as Finchingfield, you’ll be able to tuck into the home made flapjacks, cheeses and crackers. There’s even a fun 15 if you’re not quite up to the 40.
All routes start and finish at Ware, Hertfordshire, where you’ll head out North east through the picturesque villages, and then onto sweeping countryside roads of rural Essex. The fast rolling roads of the 100 will take you out towards Suffolk, coming within 5 miles of the county town of Sudbury.
