The Committee is pleased to announce that the guest speaker at our Annual Dinner is January will be Kate Allan(pictured below).
Kate races for Team Botrill and is a multiple national TT champion this year. She won the National 10, 25, Team Time Trial and Closed Circuits titles during an impressive 2023 campaign. Kate also rode our CTT National Championship 50 promotion, although sadly due to an accident on the course, did not finish. Kate will be a very inspirational guest and she will give an interesting insight to her life as a top level cyclist and working mother. Aside from us being lucky to have Kate attending, this is also the Club's main social event and an opportunity for members and guests to congratulate their fellow members on the awards won and target the trophies for the coming season. Price per head is £28.50 for three courses. Please pay into the club bank account (20-79-73 90860093 Southend Wheelers) and send an email to Social Secretary, Jane Harris. confirming your attendance.
