The main changes are
- No Canewdon ride on 17 May.
- The Club Road Race has been moved to 4 July, and will be held at Hog Hill at midday.
- The Event Calendar has been rolled on to mid-July.
More options for Sunday riders
Our Sunday morning training rides are remaining ever popular. In additional to the traditional 10:15am start, there is now the option of a longer ride leaving the hall at 9:00am going out to Hanningfield, returning to Canewdon between 11:00 and 11:30. Southend Wheelers Cycling Club came away with two wins from the San Fairy Ann Spring series races held at the Redbridge Cycling Circuit, Hog Hill, on Saturday.
Trophies Galore for Southend Wheelers
Southend Wheelers held their annual awards presentation at the Hollywood Restaurant, Thundersley this weekend. Over 80 members and friends of the club watched on as the club Patron, Hazel Parsons presented the awards.

Southend Wheelers Sunday morning rides at Canewdon are growing in popularity. The rides are suitable for all abilities from leisure cyclists to those who are looking for harder training rides.
