Spring is almost here, and the summer months not far away, so let's take a quick look at what’s on over the next few months.
We’ve got big rides, the return of Time Trials, Youth Coaching sessions, major road races and a full run of Away Day club runs to look forward to. Whether you’re chasing early‑season form, building confidence, or just looking for great days out on the bike, there’s plenty to get in the diary.

March
8 March – Spring Ride
Our first big club ride of the year, with routes of 60, 45 or 25 miles starting from East Hanningfield Village Hall (CM3 8AE).
£10 entry, including refreshments, with all profits going to charity.
The perfect early‑season test of fitness and a great social day out.

29 March – Easter Egg 10‑mile TT
The Time Trial season begins. Blow away the winter cobwebs and see where your fitness is as we kick off the 2026 TT calendar.
April
4 & 11 April – Youth Cycle Coaching (Garon Park)
Fun, skills‑based sessions for young riders of all abilities. Great preparation for the summer off‑road series and a brilliant confidence‑builder.
8 April – Evening TT league starts
Our weekly summer TTs return. Fast, friendly and open to all riders looking to sharpen their speed.
19 April – Andrews Trophy & Florrie Newbery Classic road races
Two of our flagship National B road races come to Essex. Expect big fields, fast racing and plenty of atmosphere.

26 April – Club run Away Day no.1
The first of this year’s social Away Days — new roads, new scenery, new cafe's a great morning ride out with the club.
May
23 & 30 May – Youth Cycle Coaching (Garon Park)
More skills, confidence and fun for young riders.

Another chance to explore new routes with the club.
June
7 & 13 June – Women’s Festival of Cycling
Celebrating women’s cycling with inclusive, supportive rides and activities.
6 June – Saturday 7‑mile TTs begin
A short, sharp Saturday morning test — ideal for riders wanting to build speed or try TTs for the first time.
7 June – Club run Away Day no.3
Our third Away Day of the year, offering another great social ride on fresh roads.
Looking Ahead — Summer & early Autumn
Youth Off‑Road Racing – Summer Series
A six‑round off‑road series on our newly extended Garon Park circuit.
Proposed dates (TBC): 12 July; 2, 9, 23 & 30 August; 6 SeptemberEvents details to follow.
12 July – Regional A Road Race (West Hanningfield)
A joint promotion with Essex Roads and London Academy — one of the key regional events of the summer.
Club run Away Days no.4 & 5 (Sept & Oct)
Two final big days out before we roll back into winter club runs.
